My Father's World (MFW) is a comprehensive, full-spectrum Christian homeschool curriculum designed to cover all grade levels from Preschool (age 2) through 12th Grade. MFW provides pre-planned, all-in-one packages that integrate every core subject—History, Bible, Geography, Science, Language Arts, and Math—into a cohesive, thematic study. The curriculum's extensive scope ensures families can utilize this single program throughout their entire homeschooling journey, using a "Family Learning Cycle" to teach multiple children of different ages together in many subjects.
The foundational history and literature lessons are integrated and thematic, using a Charlotte Mason-inspired, literature-rich, "open-and-go" approach that reduces parent prep time. In contrast, Math and Science are typically taught separately, using recommended third-party publishers to ensure grade-level rigor, especially in the upper grades. For High School Math (7th–12th), MFW schedules materials from publishers like Saxon Math and Harold Jacobs Geometry. Similarly, High School Science is addressed with courses from publishers like Apologia and Jay Wile, covering college-prep Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Language Arts in MFW is a hybrid approach. For younger grades, skills like phonics, copywork, and grammar are integrated into the core unit study. In the upper grades, composition, literature analysis, and formal grammar are included as dedicated components within the Declare (High School) programs. High school packages include structured lessons for English and Literature, often incorporating Progeny Press literature guides and requiring students to complete essays and written assignments. This balanced methodology offers the simplicity of an all-in-one package while maintaining academic rigor across all disciplines.
